Children's EducationSunday Mornings Pre-school: Will be using “The Anglican Edition of the Bible-in-Life” to discover different ways Jesus shows us we are important to Him. Scripture will come from the Gospels. K - 2nd and 3rd - 5th: Will learn about choosing and losing and that trusting and obeying God is the best way to handle any situation in life. Samuel, Saul, David, and Jonathan provide powerful examples of this. The liturgical emphasis will be on the Season after Pentecost - Growing in the Word. 6th: Will be using “PrayKids!” to draw kids into a prayer life with Jesus that’s full of adventure, truth, and power. The focus is about getting kids praying in a way they’ll find energizing and fun. The class will include hands-on activities and games. 7th - 8th: Will be doing an in-depth study of what Confirmation really means, and how these young teens can better prepare themselves for their responsibilities in the church. We urge your youth to join this class if he/she has not already been confirmed. 9th - 12th: Will be studying about our Anglican Church History. They will learn the hows and whys we do as we do as well as other Anglican symbols, traditions, sacraments, etc. A promise of lively, challenging discussion will follow each lesson.
