Special Classes First Communion Class - Our Fall Eucharist Instruction (First Communion) Class will be offered on Saturday, November 6, at 9:00 a.m. at the Church. This class is for children four years old through the second grade. Elementary age children who have never taken this class, even though they are already receiving communion, are welcome to join as assistants to the younger children or attend for a “refresher” if they wish. Children will learn why we celebrate communion as they hear the story of our Lord’s sacrifice and resurrection. We’ll meet in the Kitchen, and begin our class by baking (and eating!) bread. We’ll have a story, a talk about the church, and a visit with Father Stan for some “on-the-job” training on the procedure.
