St. Timothy's Youth
At St. Timothy’s we value our children as important members of our congregation. From our youngest kids to our oldest we offer many opportunities to learn about God, to make friends, and to serve and do mission work.
For our younger kids we offer: Sunday school beginning in our nursery, Canterbury Kids Choir for those in first through sixth grade and Club56 offers our fifth and sixth graders an opportunity to learn and bond in their own Growth Group on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. STAK (St. Timothy’s Anglican Kids) is a chance for our third through sixth graders to meet together for a fellowship activity every 6 weeks or so. Our older elementary students are invited to serve on Sunday morning as an acolyte. Vacation Bible School is available for our pre-K and elementary students during the summer.
For our older youth in STAY (St. Timothy’s Anglican Youth) we offer grade appropriate Growth Group studies through senior high school. Our juniors and seniors meet on Monday evenings, while our seventh and eighth, and ninth and tenth graders will 'group up' on Wednesdays for their studies. Sunday evenings will be STAY Encounter. This is for everyone to get together for big group games, worship and more. In the summer STAY participates in Soul in the City, a week long mission project.
On Sunday mornings, our senior high acolytes can participate in our student verger program, while those with instrumental or singing experience can audition to be part of our praise team Joyful Noise.
